Baji Rout(5 October 1926 – 11 October 1938) was the most youthful Indian political dissident and saint, having been killed at twelve years old. He was brought into the world on 5 October 1926. Rout, who was a boat kid, was shot by English police when he would not ship them across the Brahmani Waterway the evening of 11 October 1938 at Nilakanthapur Ghat, Bhuban, Dhenkanal region.
Baji Rout was the most youthful child of a boatman on the Brahmani waterway. As a functioning individual from the Banar Sena of Prajamandal (Party of Individuals), he had elected to keep watch by the stream around evening time. The English Police force requested him to cross the waterway by his boat which he denied. The police force then terminated upon Baji Rout alongside Laxman Malik, Fagu Sahoo, Hrushi Pradhan and Nata Malik.
He was brought into the world on 5 October 1926 as the most youthful child of Hari Rout and Rania Devi in the town Nilakanthapur in the then province of Dhenkanal. He lost his dad in his experience growing up. Her mom who was making money by crushing and husking paddy at a quern in the area couldn't spend anything on his schooling. He had two senior siblings who additionally acquired very little to help the family.
